Intermediary Information

How to search for existing Intermediary record

\From the Intermediary Information segment Click on the search button (the Intermediary search dialog box is then displayed).

From the search form enter your search criteria (Intermediary No, Name, Email) and Press the search button on the right side of the entry text box. If a match is found –It will display list of Intermediaries which matches your search entries in a grid. Scroll through the grid list, highlight and click to choose the customer record that matches your criteria. this then display the content of the chosen record on to the New Motor Policy (Intermediary Information layer).If a match is not found,It will display a blank grid ,User must create a new Intermediary record.

 

How to create a new Intermediary record

  • Press the New button (this then display the new intermediary creation entry screen.)
  • Enter the First Name, Last Name of the Intermediary
  • Select the branch from the dropdown branch list.(if the branch does not exist in the dropdown list consult the administrator, for a new branch record to be created or refer the MID administration manual)
  • Enter the Mobile Phone No with maximum length of 10 digit
  • Enter the Email Address
  • Select the Id Intermediary from a dropdown  List
  • Click on the ‘Save and Use’ button to commit the intermediary record into the database. If successful will display the committed record in the New Motor Customer Information layer. If unsuccessful will pop the reason in a label at the top right side of the E.g  First Name cannot be blank. The mandatory fields are First Name, Last Name  If any of this fields are ignored the system will reject the saving and will not commit to the database.
